Children change rapidly as they grow. Many of these changes are physical. Other changes are cognitive, which means the changes affect the way children think and learn. Child development often occurs in stages, with most children hitting specific developmental landmarks by the time they reach a certain age. What are the 5 stages of child development? See next slide. We are not medical professional advice in any of these stages so we highly encouraged you to consult the child's pediatrician should you have any concern. Also, your own instincts based on daily care of your little one and the childcare updates, will help the doctor's decision.
